New year, new things

Across the pond

Not only has the new year brought continuing challenges in the realm of travel but Ireland is on lockdown, again, until March 5. However, during the brief time that they were allowed to move about a bit more freely, Andrew found "more [people] open than I've seen before." He has several more people he is meeting with via Zoom and one woman offered to open her home for prayer meetings when the lockdown ends. Very exciting and encouraging. We have made plans for trips this July and September and pray that God would open the doors so these trips could happen.

Pray about joining us:  In July and/or September

In my backyard

It has been nice to get back to some sort of normal. With the stay-at-home orders and then two surgeries, I cannot stress enough how I was more than ready to get back out and do ministry again. I was recently able to join an outreach team that went door-to-door (Luke 10) searching for persons of peace, handing out tracks and looking for opportunities to share the gospel. It was a tough day as there were only two people open to having conversations but you never know what God is going to do with those conversations and the opportunity to get into the harvest again was GREAT!  Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the US and the opportunities to reach the nations in our own backyard are tremendous. Our goal is to develop weekly rhythms of being in the harvest, gospeling, making disciples and planting churches with the hope of bridging to communities around the globe. Go God!

New Responsibilities! e3 is onboarding 9 missionaries here in Houston and I will be overseeing their training in helping to launch them into ministry, some local and some investing in overseas strategies. It's a great opportunity and I'm excited to see how God uses these new candidates to expand His Kingdom. In this new role, I'll also be helping to develop short term strategies (by mobilizing and sending short term missions teams) to help catalyze movements in partnership with long term workings in Mexico, Ireland, Japan, India/Nepal and S. Africa. It's a big role, and to be honest a little overwhelming, but I'm excited to invest in all God is doing! Prayers appreciated!
In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly. Psalms 5:3
Getting back to my sunrise walks at the park has been glorious!

Personal Update

Thank you so very much for praying for me during the last several months! I'm so appreciative and happy to report that God answered those prayers. All the issues I had with the second operation are gone and I am pretty much cleared from my doctor to return to normal activities. There are a couple more check ups, but then I should be released. Happy is not a strong enough word to express how I feel! There is still a little stiffness in my left foot and pain in my hip but these things on the mend.

Please continue to pray for my parents, especially for my mother. She has declined dramatically over these past months. She gets very angry and disoriented and my father doesn't know how to deal with it so he gets upset and frustrated. It is a very difficult season for our family so your prayers are truly appreciated.
Thank you all so much for your continued partnership not only with your prayers, but in your financial giving as well. It is truly such a blessing and honor to be able to serve God full time, and YOU make it possible! If you would like to partner monthly or with a one-time donation, please click the button below:
